In order to encourage the Turkish Community to benefit from government funded training and career provisions, Intech Centre came to an agreement with the Turkish Newspaper, Avrupa, to issue a weekly column.

Article is pointing out some of the facts about Literacy and Numeracy level of UK residents including 29% of adults - as many as 11million people - could not calculate the area of a floor, in either square feet or metres (Source: BBC News website, 1 May 2003). Also according to our local research, we identified that Turkish students in Islington, Hackney and Haringey Boroughs are amongst the most in need and with low grades. In order help our kids, find employment and improve confidence, Intech Centre provides FREE literacy, Numeracy and IT courses.
