The internationally recognised European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) Extra programme, IT Level 2, will help you learn in depth how to operate the Microsoft packages (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) which are arguably the most fundamental programmes within the Windows programme.
In a world where technology is ever-growing and is used in every industry, it has never been more important to have IT skills. It has therefore become really desirable for an individual to not only know how to operate a computer successfully, but also be able to use its most common programmes effectively. The internationally recognised European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) Extra programme, IT Level 2, will help you learn in depth how to operate the Microsoft packages, which are arguably the most fundamental programmes within the Windows programme.
This course is set up as individual online learning. This would require you to be independent up to a certain level and have the appropriate IT skills to work the programme. You will be provided with additional offline learning materials that will also assist you when completing your courses.
By the end of this course you shall update your IT skills in the following areas:
Microsoft word has quickly become one of the most used programmes within employment, therefore, this section will focus on teaching you how to use it in detail. This will vary from basics such as how to format text, formatting pages, creating and using tables and effectively carrying out a mail merge.
The use of Microsoft Excel is ever growing and is becoming a very convenient and simple way to store data. Therefore, in this section you shall learn in detail how to enter data into excel, create spreadsheets and using formulas and functions.
Microsoft PowerPoint is one of the most favoured programmes when it comes to be creative and in creating personalised presentations. You shall learn how to create different presentation slides, choose different backgrounds and adaptations as well as how to include different charts and graphs in accordance with your needs.
Improving Productivity of Using IT
This final section shall teach you how to identify the most effective programme of the above to use in accordance with work at hand and the programme that is most cost effective.

Successful candidates will gain ECDL Certificate in IT User Skills (QCF) Level 2 qualification.
The duration of this course will be 4 months from the day of enrolment. Learning account will be automatically closed on the end date regardless of the progress you have made.
If you wish to have further access, you must contact the Intech Centre and settle £60 per month. Please note that we can only extend once the amount is cleared, and we can only extend within 3 months from the course end date.
