Intech Centre is offering a voluntary internship for motivated individuals keen to gain hands-on experience while working alongside qualified advisers, tutors, and various team members on multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Career Services Support:Â Assist careers advisers and tutors with day-to-day tasks, including helping learners write CVs and offering general guidance.
- Administrative Duties:Â Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, track attendance, organise calendars, respond to emails, and assist in exam coordination.
- Digital Marketing & Social Media:Â Contribute to the development and management of social media channels, help create digital marketing campaigns, and monitor online engagement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Â Work with different staff members on diverse projects to gain insight into various tasks and roles across the organisation.
- Additional Projects:Â Take part in other initiatives and activities that arise within the centre, using your strengths and creativity to contribute to the team.

Each year, we help thousands of learners gain qualifications, improve their career prospects, and move into employment. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an ambitious and organised Office Administrator to join our dedicated team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a long-term career that could progress into a Careers Adviser or Tutor role in the future, depending on your skills, qualifications, and the opportunities available.
The Role
You will play a vital part in the smooth day-to-day running of our centre. This includes managing exam bookings, supporting our Careers Advisers with CV and interview support for clients, responding to emails and queries, and providing excellent customer service to learners and partners.
You will be responsible for supporting the practical side of class delivery, helping tutors with learner registers, preparing classroom resources, ensuring rooms are ready and organised, and assisting with day-to-day scheduling and learner communication.
You will gain valuable experience in adult education and employability, with clear opportunities to develop into a qualified Careers Adviser or Tutor with further training and experience.
Ideally, the candidate to live locally or within 60 minutes travelling distance. Please consider commuting distance before applying.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage examination bookings and coordinate exam day operations
- Support Careers Advisers with preparing CVs, interview tips and job application resources
- Respond to client and partner emails in a professional and timely manner
- Greet and assist learners and visitors at reception

- Provide general administrative support to tutors, advisers and management
- Handle incoming calls and resolve basic queries
- Support workshops and training delivery where appropriate
